Privacy policy
Plain English. What we collect, why, and what we never will.
Summary
We don't require you to sign up. We don't sell your data. The only personal information we store is what you voluntarily give us via the contact form. Everything else we collect is aggregate site analytics (page views, clicks) that doesn't identify you.
What we collect
1. Contact form submissions
When you send us a message via /contact, we store your name, email, and message in our database so we can reply. We don't use that email for marketing and we don't add it to a newsletter (we don't have one).
2. Click events
When you click a deal, we log a click event — the deal ID, your user agent, and (if your browser sends one) the referring page. We use this to understand which deals are popular and which sources bring traffic. We do not log your IP address, your Amazon account, or what you ended up buying.
3. Google Analytics 4
We run the standard GA4 snippet to understand site traffic. GA4 uses cookies and may collect identifiers that Google considers pseudonymous. You can opt out by installing Google's GA Opt-Out Browser Add-on.
What we don't collect
- Account registrations — we don't have accounts.
- Payment information — we don't process payments; purchases happen on Amazon.
- Your Amazon account, order history, or purchase details.
- Location (beyond what GA4 derives from IP).
- Data we then sell or share with third-party brokers.
Cookies
We use cookies only for (1) GA4 analytics and (2) preserving admin session state for the internal team. No advertising cookies, no cross-site trackers, no pixels.
Third parties
- Amazon — when you click a deal, you leave our site and land on amazon.com. Amazon's own privacy policy applies from that point.
- Google Analytics 4 — for traffic analysis.
- Supabase — our database provider, hosts contact form submissions and click logs.
Your choices
Email us via /contact to request deletion of any contact-form submission you sent us. We'll confirm within 7 days.
Children
This site is intended for adults. We don't knowingly collect information from children under 13.
Changes
If we materially change what we collect, we'll note it at the top of this page and bump the "last updated" date. No quiet rewrites.
